What started as a dandy writing session between singer songwriters Reverend Baron and Andrew Gabbard in Loveland, OH slowly evolved into a label family affair. Produced by Leroi Conroy at Portage Lounge, Gabbard brought the idea to cover Ted Lucas' cult classic "It Is So Nice To Get Stoned." The song sits perfectly between each of the singer's stoney, candid styles. And once the main tracks were done, new label signee Mae Powell added some angelic background harmonies to boot, along with some absolutely tasty pedal steel courtesy of Jonny Lam (Okonski). All in all, a genuine and updated take on a stone cold classic.
